From July 9 to 10, international leaders in artificial intelligence and robotics in the healthcare sector will meet at the Kongresshaus in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the Geriatronics Summit, a two-day event hosted by the Geriatronics Research Center of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Caritas Association of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising e.V.
The aim of the summit is to bring together geriatronic researchers, care providers, and stakeholders from Bavaria and around the world to share knowledge about safely and ethically caring for and improving the wellbeing of older people, and how geriatronics can improve and support caregivers. Together with MIRMI Prof. Sami Haddadin, there are eight other announced speakers on the program – including Prof. Dana Kulić from Australia and Prof. Christian Ott from the Vienna University of Technology.
Those wishing to register for the summit are cordially invited to do so on the Geriatronics Summit website.
While the summit itself will host specialist participants during the day, on July 10, 2024 from 6.30 pm, all interested are invited on-site, to find out more about and participate in an interactive way with our campus project at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Registration is not necessary for this part.
