On 06.09.19 Prof. Sami Haddadin and Lars Johannsmeier presented Prime Minister Markus Söder their research on collective artificial intelligence during the CSU board meeting in Oberpfaffenhofen. The presented robot is live connected with a whole collective of robot arms in the main building of the MSRM in Munich. The robots learned together to insert a key into a lock. Their sensitivity and their ability to see their surroundings help them to accomplish this task.

From 08. to 12.07.19 the MSRM gave students of the MINT-Academy the possibility to solve complex problems with the help of robot arms. The one-week event took place at the Schülerforschungszentrum in Berchtesgaden and gave students from the surrounding area, including Austria, the opportunity to deal with various scientific and engineering fields, such as genetics, biology, chemistry, physics, geology, mathematics, robotics or computer science.
