Researchers at the Technical University of Munich have set themselves the goal of cleaning the environment with robots and drones, and have therefore been developing a technology platform for environmental robotics at the TUM Institute MIRMI for around four years. In an initial implementation, it can already be used to control robots and drones via telepresence and directly on site. [read more]

Siemens has inaugurated the largest research hub in the world, located in the northern part of Munich. The company aims to delve deeper into research areas such as Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation at this site, which boasts a prominent neighborhood. [read more]

Siemens has opened the first phase of the Siemens Technology Center (STC) at the Garching Research Center, north of Munich. In addition to Siemens, other organizations such as the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the Max Planck Institute, and SAP have also established themselves there, totaling around 28,000 people.
