AI.Factory Lab at Deutschen Museum: Investigating core functionalities for the future of AI-driven, robot-powered production
The KI.Fabrik BAYERN (AI.Factory) is a flagship initiative project with the goal to investigate functionalities that will transform traditional factories into AI-driven intelligent, adaptive, and agile production. The first instantiation of the KI.Fabrik concept is a model factory at the Deutsches Museum (German Technology Museum). It provides the essential infrastructure and hardware for research and development as well as testing AI-powered methods and algorithms for robotic systems. It also offers the possibility of implementing use cases defined jointly by the academic and industrial partners in the project.
