We focus on the performance, safety, and human interaction of lightweight robots. Our lab is organized into four main areas:
- Perception & Human Motion Prediction: Developing vision-based solutions for safe human-robot interaction.
- Collision Modeling, Injury Biomechanics & Safety Testing: Understanding injury mechanisms and safety factors in human-robot interactions.
- Robot Performance Evaluation: Using standardized setups to assess and compare robot performance, sensing, and safety.
- Planning & Control: Designing robot programming with safety-focused planning and control algorithms.
